Brad Boston Wins 2005 St Petersburg NOODs Eleven Ultimate 20s gathered to race the 2005 St Petersburg NOODs. Brad Boston claimed a decisive victory with 11 total points, followed by Peter Kitching with a total of 23 points, and Don Corey in third place with 38 points. Competition was keen throughout the fleet, with many overlaps at the finishes. The weather served up a perfect variety throughout the weekend. Friday started with wind in the mid teens and significant chop. The wind abated throughout the day until the 4th race of the day was sailed in single-digit winds. Saturday's first race again began in moderately heavy air abating through the day. Both days found most crews bundled up in fleece and spray gear. Sunday began with cool temperatures and mild winds. By the end of the day, nearly everyone was down to shorts and t-shirts, battling the light and shifty winds. The second race of the day was abandoned due to light air. As always with the U20s, the competition was great and the camaraderie was even greater. Final results follow.
