Boston, Henning, and Roberts capture top three U20 spots
  at St. Pete NOODs

Congratulations to Brad Boston, Gregg Henning, and Robin Roberts for taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the 2006 St. Pete NOOD Regatta. Boston and Henning claimed the top two spots with a total of three and seven points respectively. Roberts broke a 14 point tie with Don Corey to claim third place honors.

This was the first NOOD Regatta for the past 25 years where 2 out of the three days had no wind. The regatta began with Goombay's flowing on Thursday Night, followed by the U20 Dinner.

Friday was beautiful weather, the U20 fleet sailed in the morning in light winds but not enough winds to race in. Saturday morning was postponed again due to lack of wind but a breeze did come up in the afternoon providing air for three races. The first race was a little lighter wind, with the next two a little heavier. Understand that 6 knots was light and 8 was heavy.

Sunday the fog rolled in and never gave way to any breeze.
