West Coast U20 sailors,
This message is forwarded from John Dukat at the Richmond YC, who is organizing the Wyliecat 30 Nationals on October 8th and 9th, and is inviting the U20 and Antrim 27 classes. I’m forwarding this info to see if there’s interest from our class in racing that weekend. September and early October offers the best weather on the Bay. Please reply back regarding your interest in this regatta.
Thanks,
Tom Burden

I’d love to have the Ultimate 20s do something with Wylies this weekend (say an unofficial pacCoast champeenships, the Ultimate Bay Blast?)
Dates are October 8-9 (this is fleet week) This would be run from Whalers.
Race Area—Southampton
Saturday: Three W-L races (sausages)
Sunday: Long Distance Race
Start on deep circle to Yellow Bluff then back to start with downwind finish.
I have approached the Antrim 27s, who are favorably inclined
Sociable: suspect we could have dinner available at RYC on Sat Nite
Burgers but that might up the cost, but if the Vallejans are at RYC we could possibly set something up. Best idea I heard was send out for Pizzas There is a pizza parlor in the pt.
If there is interest we can offer a W-Ls races on Friday so a seven race series is possible.

My work schedule is taking a terrible hit on my sailing this year, so I'm going to miss a lot of events. But this weekend looks open for me, so I'll plan to be there with Toon Town.

Looks like we have a quorum. So far we have Yes answers from Breakaway, Viola, Toon Town, Uhoo!, Too Tuff and Layla.
