Title: Mast Cover for Carbon Masts
Post by: Michael Eisenberg on February 22, 2011, 07:02:41 PM
I'm going to have a mast cover built for my carbon mast. I'm concerned about the long term UV damage to the finish.  My boat is over at Elkhorn Composites right now having some chips and dings repaired, and a local cover shop quoted me about $665, ($445 for upper half & spreaders, $200 for lower half.)  Maybe we can get the price down if we order multiples.  Is anyone else interested? Has anyone done this yet?  Time is of the essence.

Boston's made one up for Slippery. Did a nice job. Don't remember the price. You could check with Brad or Tac.
