Title: Techniques for preventing lazy spin sheet from jamming between prod and snail
Post by: James Chapman on May 05, 2012, 12:07:42 PM

I will be competing in my first Ultimate 20 North Americans in Pensacola (#1 on my bucket list).  I am STOKED!

We set up for an inside gybe, thus the subject inquiry.  Any suggestions are welcomed.

Have you tried beer or salt to get rid of the snails?  :o

Kidding!

Try attaching a small line of shock cord to one of the starboard screws holding the pole cover. Run the line over the pole to the bow eye. This will keep the sheet out from under the pole cover and away from the pole and deck.
