I continue to wonder what is going on with the Seattle area boats? Are there new owners? The owners map shows a full fleet if you just located them all in the same spot but all I hear is crickets. What is the story?
I know Madison would come up there to race at least once every other year if there was a particular regatta where everyone is planning to race that fits into the rest of the calendar (Chris Chambers can be persuaded as well). Over the last several years, the only organized OD regatta up there was a NOOD in like 2011 or 2010- I can't remember. That regatta just happens to fall on my wife's birthday and it is two weeks before memorial day where we try to hit either Eugene or Whiskeytown. Whidbey Island raceweek is the same weekend as High Sierra every year and given that the distance is the same, I would rather race High Sierra (at least most years).
It would seem like an early October or Late September regatta would be sweet in the Seattle area. Is there someone in that area who can make an effort to start rallying the Seattle U20s?

Jay - I am all for a U20 PNW reunion/introduction!!! Maybe we should set a date and just go with it - wanna start another thread? PM me and we can work out a date. I see several on the hard at the CYC - so it would be nice to do something there - seems to be centrally located for the most part.
