Title: Transom Gudgeons

Almost lost rudder with upper gudgeon failure.  Need replacement.  Where to buy?

West Marine or APS or Defender.  It's a Schaefer #81-41.  Buy two and keep one for a spare, good policy.

Or you can buy two and add a second one on the top as I did with mine and have never had a problem since. This advice came from a wise man which it is named for. The Rich Hunt Gudgeon.
