Hello, Does anyone have any pictures or sketches on how to rig the barber haulers on a U20? The "Ultimate 20 Set-up Guide" does not include discussion or pictures of how to rig the barber haulers. They would come in handy on close reaches. Thanks, Eric U20 134 Carpe Diem.

Eric,
I put snap shackles on my jib sheets that attach at the bottom of the blocks. When I want to barber haul the Jib, I just move the snap shackle to the padeye on the rail that used as and assist when you raise your mast.
I hope that makes sense.

Thanks Gregg! I understand. You'd have to re-rig while under sail and oftentimes reach over to the leeward side to make the change.
So the barber haulers are not typically rigged so that they float via blocks on the jib sheets until such time they are pulled to the padeye block on the boat's rail? I have a block attached to a padeye and supported by a spring on both sides of my boat's rails. My boat came with two short sheets with a block on one end of each sheet. I'm thinking that these blocks float on each jib sheet and the bitter end of each sheet routes through each rail block and back to a point on the deck which I've have yet to locate.
