Title: Rigging
Post by: Bryan Colby on June 29, 2018, 06:55:43 PM
Looks like I have original aluminum mast with wire/braided line main halyard. I need to replace shrouds, main halyard and jib halyard does anyone have specs.

Should I keep the wire/braid combo?

Thanks,
Bryan

Where can you purchase the custom marine swag eye? or who can make a whole new forestay?

Thanks!

You would need to work with a rigging shop like APS or SD Boatworks or whatever is closest to your location.

Don Corey had some of the lower fitting for making a forestay. I bought one from him about 2 years ago. If he is out you will need to get one custom made. Most machine shops could make one. Just start with the lower fitting from APS or Mauri pro sales.

Hi all,

I was talking with Ryan at SD Boatworks today.  He is building me some new lowers.  They can make the forestay if you need one.
