Types of trailers used
« on: September 04, 2010, 07:06:24 PM »
I am researching what type of trailer is generally used to carry a U20.  Bunk, roller, ?

Also, what weight capacity?  1400lbs, 1500 lbs...

I am trying to keep the total weight (boat and trailer) as low as possible.

Brands, models and pics appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, Sorry it took this long but had to get my boat off the trailer to take Pictures.

My trailer is made by Zeiman.  It is a bunk trailer made of galvanized steel.

I posted this in another thread but I will post it here as well.

Does anyone have a design or plans or ideas about building a 2 boat trailer? Weight is hardly the issue, getting 40 feet x 8'6'' down the road is. I saw a picture once of a boat plus trailer strapped to the roof of a longbed truck but I don't think I would do that on a bet. Anything else. Calling Michael Eisenberg!
