Fleet Building

Tired of racing PHRF?  Print this page and post it at your club!  http://www.u20class.org/boat/classifieds.html

Take others out on your U20 and let them experience the excitement first hand.

Salt Lake City is now up to 7 boats by doing this.  Great Job, Mark Allen!

Several used boats are available at a good prices.

More excitement to come!  Stay Tuned!!!    :) ;) ;D

Looks like Salt Lake may have some competition. Since the NA's we have added 2 boats to our budding fleet on the northern gulf coast. One more and we will have the majic number of 5! We have 2 or 3 more prospective owners that are starting to get the itch.

If you stretch the boundaries of Northern Gulf Coast to Birmingham, Alabama, you now can add one more to the fleet.  I will be driving down to Rockport, Texas within the next couple of weeks to take delivery of #183 and could not be more excited about it.

I grew up racing PHRF with my dad and his buddies on Mobile Bay and at GYA Challenge Cups in various J-Boats (J-24, J-27, J-28, J-80, J-33), an Olson 25, and a few other boats.  In college, I raced 420s around the Southeast on Spring Hill College's sailing team.  After a too-long absence from regular racing, I am jumping back in with the U20.  Once I learn to drive it, maybe I can join you guys in some one design racing.

Hey Chris,  glad to hear you are purchasing a U20!  I bought my first U20 #88 new in 1997 to compete in PHRF as I was the first here on our lake.  Soon started traveling to one-design events which helped us improve boat handling and be more competative in PHRF.  Since we have grown the local fleet here to twelve U20s so have a fair amount of OD activity.
You will enjoy this great little boat.
