Hey, does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the compression post? The tabs/plates on either end are big enough to keep you from pushing one end either fore/aft or to the side. Thx

I guess it goes aft per Barry B from the old USI days. Trouble is the cabin top and deck pan compress there and this the vertical opening is smaller. More to come.

Got it out. Pulled the 3 bolts holding in the vang exit block and the front screws from the keel hatch opening. Then used wooden 2x2's and wedged them in place to increase the deck height to the rear so it would slide aft - her cabin top creaked a little but to be expected I suppose. I also used 4x4 plywood squares on the ends to help distribute the load from the 2x2's. Now it's off the the welder. Glad I saw this now and not on the water
