Guys we have been looking about the forum at various posts.
We are trying to optimise our U20 for IRC racing in the UK. Mainly this involves a standard mainsail without the roach a blade jib with inhaulers and a masthead Kite. Our concern is keeping the mast up after reading about breakages.
Can anybody suggest the size if the rigging wires to purchase, lengths and attachment points?
My understanding is to fit a set of "D1"s up to just above the first reef along side a backstay.
Is there any opinions on how to do this.
