CORK 2011, Kingston
« on: April 24, 2011, 03:18:01 PM »
CORK Sportboat 2011 will be Friday to Sunday August 26-28 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. That's two weeks after the NAs and a day's drive from Holland MI, so boats coming to NAs could make a triangular trip of it. Storage in Kingston between events can be arranged. I already have expressions of interest from 4 boats and with 6 we will get our own start.

Last year's racing was excellent with three days of solid southwest wind under sunny skies, typical for Kingston at the end of August.

Notice of Race at http://www.cork.org/NOR/CORK_Offshore.pdf

Gregg, please add CORK to the regatta list on the web site, with my names as contact.

Cheers,

Rick

Have a great time,

We are disappointed that we are not in Holland Michigan this weekend, but we are still committed to CORK.  Who else is planning to attend?

The fleet was small, but we had fun, with all of the U20s beating the Antrim 27 on Portsmouth Yardstick in the mixed sportboat fleet. Watch for a report on the class site and We hope to see more U20s next year!
