2011 West Coast Summer Circuit
« on: February 27, 2011, 06:48:14 PM »
Please report the Regattas you are hoping to attend for summer/early fall 2011.  Because the Yahoo groups website is being wound down, I moved Matt's poll (for the west coast boats- OR, WA, ID, CA) to the member's forum. If you already voted in that poll please also place votes in this poll so that we can keep this data going forward.  This poll allows you to change your votes and vote for as many regattas as you want; use the remove vote link to revote.  I can add regattas that I might have overlooked, just post a comment and I will add the Regatta as an option; the initial list of regattas are chronological but any I overlooked and add later will not be. As plans become firmed up, then revisit this topic and update your votes- we will have an up-to-day running log of expected boats at different events.

Jay,

Can you please add these to the poll as well.  They are on San Francisco bay.

o Tiburon YC Don Wan Regatta; 4/16
o Tiburon YC Behrens Regatta; 5/14
o Tiburon YC HO Lind Series; 5/21, 6/18, 7/16, 8/20

Thanks,

John

Done.

I was hesitant but went ahead and added the HO series, but this was not really intended for series racing (if everyone adds their local series racing we will have fourteen more choices that are not meaningful).  I did add that because it is SF Bay though and there is a collection of boats smattered about that make short trips for series racing somewhat feasible I guess...

Jay,

I did not see the remove vote link on this poll that would enable you to update votes.  Also, it would be great if we could see how people voted.  I am assuming this is not an option.

Please note the poll has been fixed so that you can change your vote.

Uhoo! is going to give the Trans Tahoe a try this year.   Any other U20s coming up to the lake.  The water levels should be high and the snow beautiful in the mountains and the Tahoe Yacht Club is always welcoming.

Previous list for Richmond YC U20 regatta in early October was 6 boats--can we grow that list and make this a significant U20 event?

I'm still in.  I'd like a 3 day event if we can get 10 boats.  Are the San Diego U20 owners on this owner's site yet?  I know they were on the old Yahoo forum, but I have not seen any postings here yet.
