Spreader Boots
« on: March 07, 2015, 05:52:53 PM »
What do you guys prefer these days?

1) The Rubber ones that came with the boat
2) No boots - tape
3) Leather
4) Perimeter Polyester

I have been checking out the Taylor Made Perimeter spreader boots.  Wondered if anyone has tried them and what the best size for the U20 would me.  Their site suggests small for a boat less than 25 feet. But then they describe it as a 1 inch spreader tube.

Tape the ends with electrical tape and then cover with a layer of Teflon tape.  The rubber spreader boots work great to protect the nice tape job while on the road or in storage.
