So really... the accommodations section of the website isn't functional. Is there a hotel where people are congregating? Are we sailing out of Crescent or Bayview?

Lastly, how is it that no one has answered my original post from March 29th?

Cheers
Nate

That would be because I have never been given anything to post on accommodations.

U20 Members,

The trophy’s are ordered, the judges and Race Committee are set and we have 16 registered with at least 4 more coming that I know of for the 2015 Ultimate 20 North American’s.

I have had many inquiries on numerous things regarding the regatta which I hope to clarify. First the money, registration deadline of August 15 will be extended so we do not scare off any one concerned about the twenty dollar late fee. You must be a paid in full class member to participate in the Nationals which I have been informed by the class treasurer you may pay when you arrive and receive your sticker for your boat.

As far as lodging if you are sailing out of Bayview I would look at the Roberts Riverwalk Hotel at 1000 River Place Dr. It is 5.1 miles from the club and is right on the Detroit River Walk which is a park that runs all the way to downtown along the water.
If you are sailing out of Crescent and are looking for something low cost Rich recommended Shore Pointe Motor Lodge at 20000 E 9 Mile Rd in St Clair Shores and is about 5 miles from Crescent.
The distance between Bayview and Crescent driving is 5.6 miles or about 12 minutes. If neither of these work give me a call and I can give you some more options.

As far as food Bayview will be offering box lunches for eight dollars that include a sandwich or wrap, some type of chips, fruit and a candy bar or we will have a list of local supermarkets and restaurants. Both clubs have ice on site.

All registration and sail measurement will be at Bayview all day on Thursday as I will be there till my start at 7 pm on our Thursday night race which you are all invited to do. There will also be trailer storage on site at both clubs.

September in Michigan should offer us a breeze of 8 to 14 knots with temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s making for great sailing on beautiful Lake St. Clair so come and join in the fun.
