U20 code '0' experience (re: Allen Townsend 2018 question)

Sorry, have not been on the FORUM for quite a while.  I've been running code '0's on the U20 for years in handicap racing with a lot of success.  They add a new dimension to sailing this awesome boat, if nothing else just more fun.  Sailing four legs of a twice around W/L (skewed) course with the spinnaker flying can be a lot of fun and certainly turns some heads.

Thanks for your call yesterday.  It sounds like this will be a good sail for me to add to my inventory.  I have ordered a code 0 from Tac Boston.  I also just purchased a Ronstan 80 top down furler which I will be trying out this spring with both the code 0 and the class asymmetrical spinnaker.  If anyone is interested, I will try to post some pictures.

Sorry, I don't have photos.  I have a code zero that Ullman cut down from a M24(?).  It helped when conditions were right, but less than I thought it would.  I then bought a free luff 155% Jib Top, tacked at the bow and raised with a 2nd spinnaker halyard.  It is sheeted at the spinnaker sheet blocks.  That is a great sail. and much more useful, especially if single handed.

Tac Boston made my code 0 for the 2019 season. 
I put it on a top down furler.  Attached are two pictures .they are not the greatest.  I was hoping to get some better ones this year, but with travel restrictions I did not get my boat in the water this summer.

I tried to post this earlier, but I think the pictures were too big.

I am using a Ronstan series 80 top down furler.  I purchased it with two torsion cables.  The intent is to have one cable in the code 0 and a second one for my spinnaker. 

I do not remember what I paid, but when I purchased it early last year, Upffront in Germany had the best price.  It worked out really well.

We just have a really long tail on ours so that it makes it all the back to the back corner so it can be eased when it is nuking downwind.

What about the jib sheet cars.   I have been reluctant to add blocks fore and aft of the tracks.  Currently I have them set up so that the car with the block has its pin raised so it does not lock into a hole.  Instead, I have a line reaching from it back on the track to a second car that I can reach from the cockpit and lock in place with a snap pin.  This allows me limited adjustment of about the first three holes from the front of the track.  I can pull it back or slack the line on the lazy side.
