The 2021 LNYC Labor Day Regatta was a mixed bag...no wind on Saturday; the U20 fleet gathered and shared how different boats were set up, sailing techniques, etc. Sunday had 8 to 10 mph winds on average, with the breeze oscillating 20 to 30 degrees. Six races were scheduled for the 2 day regatta; race committee managed to get 5 races in on Sunday. At the end of race 5, competitors were asking "are we done?" versus "will there be another race?". Is there such a thing as too much of a good time on a U20? Three different boats were able to claim a first place finish in at least 1 race.
