I believe Honour has stated that they are doing Charleston and NA's. That would make 16 boats. There has to be a few more from Lake Norman. Certainly we can reach 20+ boats.

Now that things are starting to heat up I would appreciate any input as to extra curricular activitys that have popular in the past or create a tradition for the future. One comes to mind is a bar keeper throwdown. Steve Rose can challange the PYC to a goombay smash throwdown and they can follow up with a bushwacker challange? Of course the sailors get to judge. It will be likely that the Blue Angels will hold a practice session on Wednesday Morning at 8:30 AM. Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum provide front row seating to view these sessions. It's like having a private viewing of the whole show! http://www.navalaviationmuseum.org/PlanYourVisit/Activities-(1)/BlueAngelsPractices.aspx.

Just a reminder that early registration ends on March 1st. Get off the fence and save some money! We've got 12 registered so far with 22 on the committed list. Lets keep the momentum going!

Is anyone interested in sharing a rental lodging in Pensacola for the NA’s?  I did this with another crew in Dillon 2010, and it was financially and logistically rewarding.

Just registered!  Also made reservations at the NavyLodge which google maps reports ia only 3 miles from yachtclub.  If you have DoD privledges it is only $75 per night with 2 queens and a kitchen (can't be beat).

Hi All,  to date we have twenty three committed to attend the NAs in Pensacola which at this early date could mean we break our two time record of twenty four for this event.  This is a terrific venue and I urge you all to attend.  As an incentive for those on the fence about attending, Doyle Boston Sailmakers and Ultimate Sales East is offering a door prize of a beautiful new blue/white/blue Doyle Boston class spinnaker to be randomly drawn from all registered attending skippers and delivered at the event.  So far we have boats from  Canada (2), CO (4), MI (3), CA (1), OH (1), IL (1), MN (1), KS (2), SC (2), AL (2), NC (3) and FL (1).
I've sailed in twelve of the past thirteen NAs and they all have been memorable and well worth the effort.
Come join us.
