I have some questions about the NAs. 
What type of event shirt is being offered? Do they run true-to-size, larger or smaller?
Is a Wednesday night arrival recommended? 
Is the Thursday 'Cookout' a lunch or dinner affair? 
The NOR refers to a Sunday Awards dinner, but the food order form says Awards Lunch.  Can someone clarify?

Thursday is a dinner.

Sunday is a Lunch.

We just had our annual J/24 Easter Regatta here in Columbia with twenty-five J/24's racing. The Columbia U20 fleet, having raced on a J/24, knew these sailors would be in serious need of a drink or two after racing each day. Both Friday and Saturday, they finished off 2 batches of the official U20 drink, the Goombay Smash. There was a new item on the menu, Saturday night, The Goombay Smash Sno-Cone. They seemed to over quite well.

Looking forward to the NA's!

Two years ago I made a total of 16 Mast Lift assist assemblies as seen on this YouTube Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c-3knkxrqg
I have 3 assemblies left that are available for purchase.  I doubt I'll be making any more as it takes a quantity order to build them at an affordable price.   The price of the mast lift assembly is $350, but for anyone that is participating at the North Americans that may want one, the price will be $300 delivered to Pensacola Yacht Club.  If anyone is interested, please lat me know ASAP so I can pack them for the trip East.  First Come First Served.

Mike's mast lifting device is great.  I have seen several and this is by far the best design.  I used to raise and lower the rig myself and it was always a bit dicey, especially on the way down.    This takes all of the excitement out and makes it extremely easy and safe.  Best U20 accessory out there.

The Selstad/Dobie Crew has failed to make our weight goals for U20 NAs in Pensacola.  As stated in my message of January 5th, 2012 we require a weight wavier.

Our crew on Running with Scissors (owned by Steve Rose) will consist of:
Nate Selstad age 42 wt 188 (30 pouinds less than 1/5/12!)
Addi Selstad age 15 wt 135
Mark Dobie age older than Nate!!! wt 210
Anna Dobie age 14 wt 100

Which leaves us at 633lbs, I was hoping for 180 by NAs and Mark was shooting for 190 which would have had us well under.  This waiver request is so that we might sail with our daughters in a OD event which has become a tradition of ours starting last year with the Seattle NOODS.

If any one has objection please reply here...
