Floor Boards
« on: January 01, 2012, 08:08:43 PM »
I was noticing the class allows Starboard and Dridek floor boards, has anyone tried this yet?

My wood floor boards are waterlogged and warped, so I'm looking for a more water friendly alternative.

I have also just put in Dri Dek and like it very much.  I was having the same problem with my floor boards.  For about $65 you can be all done.

Dri Dek floorboard is now standard on the new U20s and works very well.  Doesn't float, doesn't rot, doesn't get waterlogged and if you use the gray color actually looks good.  I use 9 pieces and trim off 2" off each side to end up with 32" wide by 36" fore & aft.  Cut the outside two rows tits off the bottom to allow the outside edge that rests on the pan flange to lay flat with the center.  Fits great.
