NEW U20 Owner!

I just purchased Hull # 54. She will stay here in Kansas at the Perry Yacht Club except when traveling for regattas. I have been a successful Buccaneer18 sailor and wanted to step up to a sport keel boat to get to the next level. I'm pretty jazzed to get started. I'm pretty sure we'll be commissioning a new name, but haven't decided yet. A boat called "on the rocks" is not a good omen.

Paul,
Congrats on your new boat. You are going to love the U20.
You may not be aware that there is also a U20 fleet in Colorado with a very active regatta series. Why don't you come on over for some high mountain sailing at the Aspen Open regatta on July 14-15, leave your boat here for a few weeks after the regatta and come back for the Dillon Open on Aug 4-5. There are plenty more but those are "must do" regattas.
We are having the Rocky Mountain Shootout regatta coming up on May 18-19 at Cherry Creek reservoir. We would love to have you attend that one too. We'll be happy to help you get up to speed racing the U20. If you need crew we can try to help with that also (no promises though).

We are excited to have Paul. We are planning on making the Dillion open. There are now 3 U20s at lake Perry in Kansas.

Congrats on the boat and as far as the name  On The Rocks we used it last year in the Red Fox Regatta and won our class and were fisrt overall for the fleet the last day!
