Congratulations to Jim "Chappie" Chapman for his very convincing win for the first Fleet 7 Championship regatta.
Chappie finished with a 1 2 1 1 to come away with our first ever championship in very difficult conditions. Each race saw multiple lead changes as the fleet saw every possible combination of wind condition and direction. Some people are quick to call it a crap shoot but I have to ask, why did the same guy win all the races? Maybe a little skill involved in toss of the dice? Me thinks so!
