As it looks like Huntington Lake is going to be cancelled for 2014 due to lack of water, I have been offered a replacement regatta. SCCYC (South Coast Corinthian Yacht Club), the oldest yacht club in the Santa Monica Bay and the driving force of One Design racing in the marina, has offered to give us a class during their One-Design Weekend. It happens to be the same weekend as Huntington Keelboat; July 19-20. Santa Monica Bay weather is at it’s best, the Bay is full of water, and the R/C will be setting marks, and SCCYC has the best hospitality. Is anyone interested in coming to LA for the weekend?
