« Last post by U20 Site Moderator on December 31, 2025, 05:31:06 PM »
Will consider delivery based on price and distance

Contact: Larry Bigus, 913 707 7745. Lwbigus@gmail.com

Inventory:
Set of Doyle sails (main, jib, spinnaker) all in good racing shape. Main and spinnakerlightly used. Jib sailed regularly for 2 summers.
Older set of Doyle sails – good for casual sailing but not racing

Rigging:
Two sets of running rigging – one of each size allowed by the class rules
Mast replaced shortly before I purchased in 2016 – that is when the heavier runningrigging was put on the boat
All racing rigging a racer would expect to be on the boat
All sheets except the main sheet have been replaced by me. The spinnaker halyard has been replaced by me.
Quick adjusting side stays so they can be adjusted under sail

Hull Upgrades:
Cockpit top and sides were rebuilt in 2025. The lining on the interior was removed, the original core was removed, new core installed, lining replaced, lining faired and lining painted. Also, the same work was performed under the starboard end of the traveler.

Honda 2.3 engine. Long shaft. Runs well. Purchased by me in 2017.

Trailer: Excellent condition. New tires in 2024. New bearings and hubs in 2025.

Boat cover and jib sock are in fair condition.
Cabin cushions have been stored in my basement and have not been kept on the boat. In good condition.

I agree, just noticed it came with a fairlead but couldn't see in your video if it was removed.

Yes, I think the halyard should not be captive at the cleat.

The angle is critical.

I assume you removed the fairlead?

U20 Boat Maintenance & Care / Re: Stanchion repair/upgrade

By way of update, I got two quotes for the repair of our stern stanchions and the addition of a third vertical member (to match newer boats). We went with Dave at Railmakers who did a quality job in just three weeks including shipping time to and from.

The angle is critical.

Like this solution much better than the upside-down cleat thing I've seen before.
