2013 champagne series
« on: January 20, 2013, 05:35:47 PM »
Consists of two Saturdays. We're currently sitting in second place with a 3,2. Should be two second places but light air wind shift in the first race cost us a 100 yard lead over a j80 on the last leg. Second race we win the start, half way up the first beat we tack on the j80 and force him to tack over and low and behold, the favored side of the course! We've all been there. Our class consisted of 2 j80s, 2 Santana 3030s, j24, and a j30.

Nice! Great job Glenn, Please keep the updates coming. Are you sailing the boat in one design configuration or are you using PHRF sails?

Sailing one design. I don't have phrf sails. Using my 1996 Ullman originals for phrf. They still look pretty decent. The j80 are sailing phrf configuration. They're tough to beat as it is then top it off one being the top j80 in socal.
