Hello all,

I was at Dana Point Yacht Club last Saturday (3/13/21) in Southern California and they were having a race just outside the harbor, I saw a U20 in the 200’s returning from the race and I’d like  to reach out to whomever owns the boat as there aren’t many U20s besides mine in Southern California. I believe there are possibly two more in the area with one in San Diego and another in the South Bay area? I didn’t write down the sail number so if it was you then I’d like to reach out and collaborate strategies against other PHRF racers and offer crew help if needed as it would greatly help in my skills. I’m just getting started racing PHRF in Newport Beach so looking for insight.

Well this is promising for next year's San Diego NOOD!  8)

Plus maybe another 2 boats out of Lake Pleasant AZ for next year's NOOD. I'll discuss with the other boat and see if there is interest.

I would really like to see a U20 in person. I live in the Pasadena area and sail a Precision 165 out of Ventura. Would it be possible for me to come to Long Beach or even Dana Point to take a look at a U20?  Thanks. Ron

Was in dana point last Saturday and ran into one of the owners. Danny I believe his name was. Co-owners with Ben lakin.

I'm retired so my schedule is pretty flexible. Might next week work for you, any day from April 6-April 11? Would love to go for a sail if that is possible, but no worries if not. Many thanks!

My  mast is down. Replacing the standing rigging. And boat is filthy, havent used it at all this winter. Maybe someone else can take you for a sail. But if you just want to look at the boat let me know.

Ron- I’d be happy to let you check mine out, I’m in Huntington Beach and my boat is in Newport Harbor.
