Need some fiberglass work done
« on: May 20, 2023, 08:38:41 PM »
I have a couple of fingernail size chips on the bottom side where keel slides into the water that need to be patched and sanded. Don Corey worked on my boat and always enjoyed trailering the boat to Charlotte to repair. Just finished the spring PHRF season, and would like to find someone nearby that could help me with this before the fall series begins. Any help would be appreciated??

Hi Chuck,  I just spoke with Mike Digh, Admiral Marine, Denver, NC,  (704) 489-8771.  Mike has done fiberglass and gelcoat repair on a number of U20's over the years...does a GREAT job!  Mike is semi-retired at this point...picking and choosing what projects he wants to work on.  I recommend taking some photos of your boat repair project, sending them to Mike and giving him a call.  Regards,  Dean Nelson, U20 Class East Coast District Chair
